When Hollywood It Boy, Reid Alexander, arrives on location, his
intentions are simple: film another blockbuster hit while enjoying his
celebrity status to the fullest. His costar is a virtual unknown with
whom he has blazing hot chemistry, and the universe is lining up nicely
to grant whatever he wants - until he's confronted with a bitter
ex-girlfriend and a rival for the first girl to spark his genuine
interest in years.
Emma Pierce just got her big break after more
than a decade of filming commercials for grape juice, department stores
and tampons, and bit parts in made-for-TV movies. Nailing the lead role
in a wide-release film should send her into raptures. But Emma is
experiencing a building desire to be normal, and starring in a
silly, modernized adaptation of one of her favorite novels--opposite the
very hot Reid Alexander--isn't going to advance that aspiration.
Indie
actor Graham Douglas isn't overly picky when it comes to film roles. If
it pays, he'll do it. Besides, his friend Brooke Cameron snatched up
the role of the bitchy hot girl and could use his help as a buffer,
because her ex is the star. Graham has no problem keeping a handle on
the situation, until he finds himself attracted to Reid's costar, Emma,
the girl Reid is pursuing full-throttle with his standard arsenal of
charm, good looks and arrogance.

Life sucks for orphans Callum Tate and Harper Bailey.Kicked out
of their foster homes because they suffer the 'eighteen disease' with
nothing but a hundred dollar check from the government and a pat on the
back, they're forced to rely on a system that failed them miserably. So
they sit. They sit inside Social Services, waiting for their social
workers to call their names and offer them the miracle they know will
never come but they sit anyway because they have nowhere else to go, no
other options on their very literal and figurative empty plates. But
as they sit, they notice the other. Although captivated, they each come
to the conclusion that life is complicated enough without throwing in a
boiling tension that can't ever be acted upon because they're both too
busy thinking about where their next meal will come from but when their
names are called and both are placed on a year long waiting list for
permanent housing, suddenly relying on each other seems like a very
viable plan B. And, oh, how lovely Plan B's can be. Well,
except for the psycho from Harper's past that haunts her and, oh, yeah,
there's the little issue that neither of them knows they're in love with
the other. Needless to say, Callum & Harper's life just got a bit more complicated.
“One
day, you and I are gonna’ wake up and be alright. Maybe not today,
maybe not tomorrow but one day. One day. I promise you.” - Callum Tate

She's his sister's best friend for crying out loud! But she is also
smart, funny, and seriously hot. Plus she's not afraid to get a little
sweaty-- on the track that is. Tony can't seem to help himself, besides

ReplyDeleteTrisha- I could NEVER forget Travis! Beautiful Disaster is in my top three all-time favorite non-paranormal reads! Because I chose it as my 'Book of the Week' I didn't want to over saturate the page with my love for all things Travis and Pidge! I have a full-length review coming in the near future though =)
ReplyDeleteI love Between the Lines. I even read the sequel, which says a lot because I have an awful attention span.
